Tips for Unpacking a Fuf Chair or Fuf Product All Fuf products, including the Fuf Chair, College Logo Fuf Chair, the Chillum Fuf Chair,
Wedge Lounger, Tink Arm Chair (safe kids furniture),
and
Sports Ball Fuf Chairs ship in a box that is
approximately 1/3 the size of the product. This can be done
because of the urethane foam fill, which does not break down like the
polystyrene beans used in traditional bean bag chairs and beanbag
products. Please keep in mind that once a Fuf product is removed from
its shipping box, it starts to absorb air and expand. So
if you have ordered a product with a liner ... you will want to work quickly so that you
can get the cover on before the product completely "Foofs out".
Here are some simple steps to follow that will make it easier to get your
Fuf Chair out of the shipping box:
Step 1
Use scissors to carefully cut the strapping that helps to hold the box together.
Step 2
If you ordered your Fuf Chair with the optional inner liner,
the outer cover will be packed separately and found on top.
If you did not order the inner liner, go to Step 3 and then directly to Step 6.
Step 3
Carefully break open one of the corners of the box.
Avoid using a sharp object so that you do not damage your Fuf
product.
Step 4
Work quickly to place the outer cover on your Fuf.
The inner liner filled with the urethane foam ships in a plastic bag, making it
possible
to vacuum-pack the product.
Put the outer cover right on over the plastic bag.
Note: as soon as the urethane foam is released from the bounds of the
shipping box,
it starts to expand. You want to take advantage of the fact that it is "squished down".
We repeat: Work quickly to place the outer cover on your
Fuf.
Step 5
Once the outer cover is on your Fuf, grab the plastic bag
and remove it from
inside the outer cover.
Please note:
For safety reasons, the zipper pulls have been removed from the
zipper heads.
Simply partially unbend a paper clip,
insert it into the zipper head and use it as the zipper pull
tab.
Step 6
Grab your Fuf by the seams, pick it up, roll it around and
Foof it
up!
Step 7
Please note that, depending on the size of your Fuf product, it may take as
much as
two or three days for your Fuf Chair to completely "Foof up".
During this time, you might
notice a peculiar smell. Do not be alarmed,
this will dissipate shortly.
The odor is created when
freshly-processed urethane foam is used for the fill.

- Leave the Fuf product in its shipping box, for ease of gift wrapping and transport (be sure to check the shipping box for obvious signs of potential damage and also open up the top just to check to see that you received the right color and fabric).
